Thank you for your interest in Leva! I started Leva for all the reasons mentioned here. I know from first-hand experience that breastfeeding is a pain in the butt, being a kick-ass boss woman in corporate America is hard, and finding balance is easier said than done.

I try to live my life aligned with my top 3 values: continuous learning, family, and freedom. I love building teams, developing people, and learning from them as well. I am the mother of an awesome 6-year old named Roosevelt and wife to a wonderful husband named Justin Sachtleben.

Outside of Leva, I spent over 20 years working in the world of internet technology ranging from startups to well-known brands. As a senior executive leader, I’ve led teams that launched new digital products to market, increased customer sentiment, and substantially increased profitability.

I am passionate about human-centered design, research, and being data-driven. I hold my BBA in Information Systems from the University of the Incarnate Word, Master of Science in Technology Commercialization (aka Innovation) from UT Austin McCombs School of Business, as well as a certificate from Cornell University in Women in Leadership.
